Surveybase is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a contract to undertake Precision Digital Surveys spanning Bath & North East Somerset as part of a Multi-Year Surveying Framework.

This marks a significant milestone in our commitment to supporting BANES in their continuous infrastructure management endeavours. Over the course of the multi-year framework, we will be undertaking Topographical, Measured Building Surveys, and 3D BIM Models to contribute to the council’s comprehensive understanding of their infrastructure.

This latest contract extends the partnership between BANES & Surveybase, bringing the total duration of collaboration to an impressive 12 years, following successful engagements in two previous frameworks.
In our past frameworks, a notable project with BANES included mapping the underground vault network beneath Bath’s central streets, delivering a BIM-ready 3D model. This highlights our innovative and advanced capabilities in handling infrastructure projects.

BANES manages a substantial portfolio of properties, serving the needs of its vibrant community. Bath & North East Somerset Council owns approximately 1,200 property assets with a current capital value of more than £500 million, the UNESCO Heritage City boasts historic locations such as the iconic Roman Baths, The Pump Room, Bath Abbey.
