The former House of Fraser flagship store on Oxford Street, was originally built in 1937 for DH Evans, which later became part of House of Fraser. This iconic department store was the first to feature escalators on every floor.

Since its closure in January 2022, the 34,000-square-meter Art Deco building has remained vacant. However, a £132 million refurbishment is set to transform it into a vibrant mixed-use development featuring retail spaces, offices, a rooftop restaurant, a swimming pool, and terraces with 360-degree views across London.

The survey of the Former House of Fraser store was undertaken with the latest laser scanning technology and the output included a fully registered, controlled and accurate Pointcloud.

The Former House of Fraser store is another example of our unique capability to deliver surveys of commercial sites. It stands proud within a portfolio of similar work including Chiswick Road, London, and Beatties, Wolverhampton.
