Located on the outskirts of Swindon in rolling Wiltshire countryside the survey is an excellent example of our 3D Laser Scan survey solution.
Using the latest Leica RTC360 Laser Scanning instruments the survey recorded the complex architectural features in precision digital detail. No other survey solution could capture such comprehensive data on floor, ceiling and roof levels, wall thickness and timber panels.
The rich point cloud created using Leica Cyclone allows our expert technicians to take a series of horizontal sections through the building to reveal wall thickness at various levels. This provides the information needed to detail accurate floor plans and provide Clients with critical information on wall undulation and beam deflection.
In addition, the RTC captures high resolution 3D photogrammetry that helps our technicians understand the building and provides Clients with a useful walkthrough facility.
