Survey Base has commenced a major 3D surveying programme with Bath and North-East Somerset Council. Very few people know that below the Georgian City of Bath lies and extensive network of subterranean Vaults.
These period structures support the roads above and it is vital to understand their condition and location in relation to the road and pavement surfaces over. We have been appointed to provide a 3D survey of the Vaults and build a “one world” Revit Model of the entire area including street level features, kerb lines and crown of the roads. The programme is expected to last 3 to 4 months with completion targeted for early 2018.
