We are pleased to announce the completion of the measured building survey of a Grade I fortified manor house in Gloucestershire.
The survey that dates back to 2015 commenced with a detailed Topographical record of this incredible 14th century estate. We returned to the site to continue our work in line with the refurbishment programme. Ultimately we created floor plans, elevations and sections of every level carefully detailing the plans in line with our Heritage survey standard. Our most recent visit completed the survey of the main facades at basement level that had been recently exposed following the drain down of the surrounding moat.
Having a lifetime fascination and appreciation of historic architecture it was a privilege to spend time at this unique environment held in private hands for over 600 years.
We wish our Client and their team of consultants well in the closing stages of refurbishment and thank them for this amazing opportunity and for the sympathetic restoration of an important building in UK history.
