SUMMARY

The Heritage Matterport 360 & Measured Building Survey of Garrison Church of St George, Salisbury.

This grade II listed Church dates back to the 1920s, but the plans for this church were being considered in 1913, however, they were put on hold when war broke out. Following the armistice, it was decided that the church should also serve as a memorial to the fallen. The building was completed in 1927, and dedicated to St George by the Bishop of Salisbury.

The survey was a full-service undertaking deploying a Leica RTC360 Laser Scanner, UAV Drone and Matterport. The output included precision 2D Floor Plans, Elevations, Roof Plan and a Matterport 360 survey.

Deployment of the laser scanner enables detailed and accurate heritage standard 2D survey drawings to be produced with deployment of the UAV Drone enabling a full external survey and production of the 2D roof plan including HD photos and video flyover files sufficient for building condition reports.

The 360TOUR survey provided an immersive 360 walkthrough imaging tour of St George further supporting the design and construction stages.
