The Topographical and Measured Building Survey of a Department Store, Wolverhampton
Beatties has stood proudly on the corner of Victoria and Darlington street in the centre of Wolverhampton for over 145 years. Over the years, Beatties had grown from a small family drapery business into a big department store with an excellent reputation.
The site has now been passed on to new owners who have plans to build 145 new flats, replacing the former Beatties car park and nightclub.
The survey was undertaken with a Leica RTC360 Laser Scanner and a Trimble Total Station. The output included site plan, floor plans, elevations, and sections.
