Proud to Support The Nepal Trust

Here at Survey Base we are proud of our continued efforts to support our chosen charities, none more so than The Nepal Trust, aided by the annual Wells Charity Boules event this month. To date, £90,000 has been raised through this event for The Nepal Trust Charity, and we are delighted to be a part of their story, helping the people of Nepal.

The Nepal Trust was founded in 1993 by Scottish businessman and ex British-Indian Army Major, Alan Jacobsen, who had served alongside Nepalese Ghurkas in WWII.

They work in one of the most impoverished and remote areas of human habitation in the world, including the upper Karnali river zone of North-West Nepal

They are a grassroots, cost-effective organization, dedicated to supporting the Nepalese people by working with them on sustainable community development projects in the areas of health, education, renewable energy, sustainable tourism, agriculture, water & sanitation and heritage preservation.
