Surveybase celebrates Women in Construction day 2023.
Women into Construction is an independent not-for-profit organisation that promotes gender equality in construction. They provide bespoke support to women wishing to work in the construction industry and help companies recruit motivated, trained women, to reduce skills gaps and create a more gender-equal workforce.
Surveybase is working alongside the TSA (Survey Association) in its campaign to increase the number of women working in the UK geomatics industry.
We launched the initiative by hosting our first ever Ladies Day at an event organised by the Bath Races. Women in Construction Day. This event also gave the women at Surveybase in the industry the opportunity to come together and celebrate their achievements and hard work.
Along with this, Surveybase has also donated £250 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, to help fund vital research into this devastating disease.
We are proud to celebrate every women in the industry, and we look forward to seeing more women in the construction industry achieving great things in the years to come.
